Here is the best picture of the test we did for the top of the head... please bear in mind that it was just a test, but it only took a few minutes to put together and I think that by cherry picking the right pallets and creating the top of the head before building the rest of the head, that it will be pretty easy. The design is basically to use the big pallets as the base and then every 2-3 pallets, put one of these 2x4s sticking out so that we have a fan of 7 - two on each side and one in the middle. Then we can attach fabric(?) to the ends and we have our fin. I was actually thinking that we might want to use the orange netting like is used for the trash fence.. .would be less likely to rip and it would be bright orange too! (ill check prices today)
