Here is the first part of the promised post about the excavations under Al Aqsa mosque: The excavation and digging officially started by the religious affairs ministry of Israel in a trial to find any evidence of the existence of the Temple of Solomon that they are lying and trying to destroy the mosque to build it. They started by destroying Al Magharebah hood, and making the gate as an entrance for Israeli army and people to the temple Mount, they started there digging from that area opening a tunnel to the other side of the mosque, during the digging which was claimed to be safe and wont affect the mosque or any other heritage, a 12 meter crack occured in 1 side of the Moslem quarter and Israeli authority stopped the digging until they surrounded it with safety metal, the Israeli government kept the digging projects as a top secret and even the UNESCO ambassador was not allowed to meet with any of the officials or visit the sight. Israeli keep arguing that the claims by Palestinians that the digging is dangerous to the building and its a plan to weaken the bases of the building is not true, while it is obvious from all the cracks in the buildings and the grounds that the projects are affecting the building.
