Here is the newest cocker centerfold to pose for Heart To Heart Rescue! His name is Buckley, and he was left at Chicago Animal Care and Control when retrieved as a stray off of Lakeview Drive. His microchip went nowhere and not one person was interested in him because they aged him at 13 years and with a skin condition. This sweet, loving, absolutely adorable boy became the vet favorite at CACC and I could not let him stay. He was pulled and it was evident immediately that the skin issue was poor diet, and excessive feeding and his eyes, ears and teeth are in wonderful condition! He loves EVERYONE and is completely housetrained. He does not even need to be crated because he is so well behaved. He knows not to get on the furniture, which is strange in our house and he sleeps next to my side of the bed at night. Buckley is not a barker, and I hate to give him up, but he really needs a family to call his own, preferably with children to play with him and people to walk him. He has lost about 5 pounds already on his new food and exercise plan (I wish I could do that myself!) and another 5 pounds would be ideal. He is a big boy with a curly cocker coat. I would say this boy is at the oldest 8 years old and has lots of life left in him!!
