Here is the start of another poem. What you should know is what appears on these pages is experimental; the ideas are drafts that need to be edited, trashed, polished, or whatever. My aim is pare them down to the essential elements. There are a few poets who I admire who master this skill. Perhaps one day. Until then, I say too much. I write too much. Warm water laps over me As Sirius illuminates the night sky. I feel your touch reach down from heaven And just for a few minutes You live again.
