Here is tonight. Cade had a fairly long seizure in the video and thats why he was so utterly still. Hes really working to breath tonight and up to 2.5L to maintain his sats above 90% at this moment (wed prefer above 95%, but I cant get them up there yet). If I cant get him higher before we go to bed Ill have to switch him over to a mask. Hes had a few doses of ventolin to open his airway, with good effect but continues to mouth breath due to obstructing in his upper airway which I cannot correct. With mouth breathing hes not utilizing the oxygen being provided thru his nasal passage, with it up higher he gets a bit of blow by but apparently thats not even enough tonight. I cant go much higher than 3L with his infant nasal prongs because they are so small. Todays been a bit rough for him. Lots of Tylenol given for teething pain. Teething means extra secretions that hes unable to handle, which has lead to extra suctioning and aspirating and now an increased work of breathing.
