Here is your daily reminder to vote for the Southside SPCA. The summer shelter challenge ends on the 21st. We have slipped all the way down to 42nd in the rankings. I know we have been hammering this with daily votes and maintaining our daily voting percentage, it just seems two rescues have come out of nowhere in the rankings and have a boat load of people voting for them. I think if we keep up our daily votes we should be able to maintain 42nd position. There are 5,000 rescues throughout the nation competing so to say we are 42nd out of 5,000 across the nation, that is nothing short of very impressive!! When the fall challenge starts up we will once again be eligible to win the $1,000 grant to be the top rescue/shelter in the state of Virginia. We did it in the spring and I have no doubts we can repeat that task this fall!!! Dont forget about the Amazing Raise that is still going on until 9 pm tomorrow.
