Here it is!! October 1, 2014....the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month!! I know way too many who have been affected by this horrific disease. AND my mission is to make as many people aware of what they can do to stay healthy and need to do for EARLY detection! CANCER DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE...I REPEAT....CANCER DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE!!!! Whether you are tall, short, overweight, underweight or what society classifies as just right...Ladies and Gents...PLEASE perform monthly self-examinations and visit your doctors for yearly check-ups. Trust me...it saves lives...IT SAVED MINE!! Three years ago I went from being diagnosed with Stage I Breast Cancer, to having a double mastectomy to being CANCER FREE @ 43!! Praising God and giving HIM ALL the glory for keeping my FAITH in him. THIS is why I can talk about it to you today. I am #TASHASTILLSTANDING and I continue to fight so my daughter wont have to! In honor of the WARRIORS, SURVIVORS and DEPARTED...I vow to wear pink every day, 31 days of the month of October to raise awareness of Breast Cancer! I fight like a girl and PUNCH like a woman!
