Here it is, folks! The whole reason I got to hang out with the infinitely lovely people at Blizzards Cinematics team! This is the fifth and final episode of Lords of War. This one features Maraad, the draenei man telling the story (artwork starts at the 01:07 mark). This feels like somewhat of a summer project having spent the last two months contributing to the creation of this episode from start to finish. The mammoth-sized workload was intimidating at first but it didnt ever feel like work as I got to hang around an intense concentration of talent and learn so much from watching them do what they do best. Super shout outs to Doug Alexander for bringing me in and whipping me into shape (and for turning me into an artbook hoarder. Duck rape is real). Chris Thunig for the awesome art direction. Laurel Austin for being the paragon of patience and goodwill and for setting an excellent example of what a hard-working artist is capable of. Mathias Verhasselt, Steve Hui and Josh Tallman, it was really rad to get to see you guys mow through so much painting in those few months, crazy good stuff! Glenn Rane, Mr Jack Art, Jomaro Kindred, Richie Marella, for helping us beat back the deadline demons. Eric Kieron Davis, Joslyn Field and Patty Adams for always being there to solve any mysteries that needed solving. Brian Fay for cheering us all on. And the whole motion story team who absolutely killed it on this! I hope to see more of these being made in the future.
