Here we go again. Saira and I were gone most of the day. When we returned, my house was hot again. I called the company and they sent their weekend tech here. When my AC was fixed on Thursday, the guy said he checked everything out (freon, filter, etc). I paid $495 which included an $84 dollar service call. The weekend guy was young. He couldnt find anything wrong but by then the AC seemed to be cooling off again. He did some more checking then said, your drain pipe is stopped up. How much? $76 dollars for the drain pipe and another $84 service call. I said but your associate was here on Thursday and said everything was OK. Why should I pay another service call? He said they werent related. Then I said but theres a coupon on your web page that says $79 tune up. Does that include cleaning the drain pipe? Yes, he said. Do you pay another $84 service call over and above? No he said. I said then why would I pay you almost $200 to clean my drain pipe? My air is working again. Why wouldnt I call and schedule a tune up? He said but Im here now. I said, well, sorry I called you but you can leave now. Anyone can take a water hose and unstop a drainage pipe. If I need further work, I can schedule a tune up. He called the office because I was livid. The woman said, please let up send a senior tech on Monday to resolve the problem. She said he was a young tech and maybe didnt know how what to do about my system. I said OK but it will be at my convenience 5 PM. Now they are coming back on Monday. Hopefully, my air will last until then.
