Here we go with the start of another new week! And after that wonderful inch and a half of very welcome rain. But what a night, last night!! It was one of those where I couldnt get to sleep, no matter what. And then in the middle of the night I glanced out my bedroom window and standing in the park, across the street, was this person that was glowing from head to toe. My first thought was an alien because its exactly how he looked!! Ive never seen that kind of lighting. He moved around and would stop to examine things and I finally hollered at terry to look out the front door, which he did and he had no idea what was going on either. It then appeared he was looking for something that had been lost which lead me to think the funny big lighted thing he was carrying was a metal detector. Periodically there would be this yellow glow at the top of it and it literally lit him up. No, I wasnt lit. :) Due to the time of night I wondered about calling the police but suddenly a police car came roaring up and evidently one of the other neighbors had called. After a bit of discussion he left, the police car left and our cats, who I forgot to mention were on the front walk taking it all in, left. But they came back in here and went to sleep. I guess well never know what was going on, but it was the closest to the look of an alien from space I think Ive ever seen and it was right across the street from our house! LOL Rocky had been here earlier, alone and got to eat peacefully and very mannerly for a change. So, with thoughts of space, Mars and other tidbits of sci-fi, have a great day and enjoy our ties to flying saucers........... earl d.
