Here we have Dex still not adopted after being surrendered back to SODR. Very surprising as he is the most adorable dog ever. Unfortunately not good with cats as he wants to snap at them or chase, he also wants to bark at horses and I dont think he would be good with chickens although have heard that chooks are pretty good at defending themselves and putting dogs in line. In saying that I do believe with patience and training because he is only young that cats would not be an issue but you would need to keep them apart for a period. He is a very devoted dog and wants to come and say hello in the morning to me before he goes outside for a wee. He is beautifully house trained and gets on well with other dogs although my two get a bit tired of him as they are 9 and he is full on wanting to play so would suggest a younger paw pal if you have another dog. Otherwise this boy would be fine on his own, preferably with someone who is home during the day sometimes. He is okay in the yard outside and doesnt make a fuss considering his age of 8 months. He is happily asleep at my side when inside and play is over, doesnt let me go too far from him most times. Dex loves to play tug of war and fetch as you can see. Does need some practice and training on lead but once a bit tired he is okay. I am so tempted to keep him as I have fallen in love with this beautiful dog but cannot be a carer taking on more dogs if I do. Please give Dex a good home. I am sure you will not be disappointed.
