Heres Gary really enjoying his vegemite sandwich. Unfortunately the seizures returned over the weekend (always the weekends when his neurologist is off). Spoke with Westmead on Monday & increased one of his medications. Fingers crossed the increase works soon otherwise it might be another trip to hospital. He is still smiling as always, but it breaks mum & Dads hearts having their gorgeous little man still suffering these seizures. Its horrible having your baby go away from consciousness even for a couple of seconds at a time. The light goes out of his eyes, he stops interacting or doing whatever it was he was doing, his body shakes, he falls, each meal or drink is a chocking hazard, his mind & body are abruptly interrupted but mainly we struggle with him going away from us. We just want our little man to be safe & happy. Positive thoughts & prayers would be greatly appreciated.
