Heres a LESSON in CONSISTENT POSITIVITY: Sometimes, even the MOST positive person slips back into a negative zone. I have a friend that did something that I absolutely did NOT like. After talking to that friend and not getting MY desired result, I completely WENT OFF. Even though that person REFUSED to correct their actions, I still felt pretty bad for stooping BENEATH their level with my words...so I apologized. As expected, the apology wasnt received well...but I did it for ME...not for them. About a week later (yesterday), I was stranded with a flat tire. Who did I call? THAT FRIEND. They didnt hesitate to offer help at 7 oclock on a Sunday morning. Because my wheels are locked (and I didnt have the unlock key) the issue went into TODAY...again at 7 oclock in the morning. This person came to my rescue IMMEDIATELY and spent a day and a half helping me. They wouldnt leave me until my tire was COMPLETELY replaced. Through this, we were able to talk and our friendship was repaired. I learned that sometimes, we are quick to cut off a person that would drop EVERYTHING for us over things that couldnt compare in the grand scheme of LIFE and that is by FAR the most unfortunate thing a friend could do to another friend. FORGIVE PEOPLE, APOLOGIZE, BE CONSIDERATE, PUT YOUR LOVED ONES FIRST, RESPECT, DONT HOLD GRUDGES, LOVE!
