Heres a Purpose-Driven update... By now you should be reading Day #4 of the Purpose Driven Life book. I am sure you, like Diane and I, have found it to be very challenging and thought provoking. Please keep in my mind that for the next 40 Days we are, as a church, on a journey to becoming better disciples of Jesus Christ and to be more aware of His Image and my privilege to reflect that image! I am reminded of Psalm 84:5, “Blessed are those whose strength is in You, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.” Remember what goes on this Sunday: 9:00am Bible classes 1. My discussion class will be in the Jars of Clay classroom covering Days 1-7 2. Rich Alexander and Dick Doty will be teaching a special small group in the Bereans classroom. This small group setting is for all those who for one reason or another cannot take part in an evening small group at the church building. They will be covering the same small group material that they will do with their individual groups on Sunday PM. 10:00am Worship celebrating God’s challenge in the first 7 Days of reading. 11:30am Some lucky member will get to buy me “lite” lunch! (KIDDING! - [Or is he? - Bill]) 6:00pm All small groups meet at the church building and are taught by our Elders. Hey, also remember that tonight Terry Bunnell is beginning a fascinating class on Ecclesiastes in the Jars of Clay classroom. C U there! I am grateful to be the minister at a church who deem it a blessing to walk closer to the Lord each day!
