Heres a few new pieces found at El Sereno s Art Alley (between Alhambra Ave and railroad Tracks). Bumped into artist/El Sereno resident Ismael Cazzares, who shared an idea-- why not have a community art day every month, where local artist and residents can come to the alley to meet, sell their art, clean up the alley, and put up some new pieces on the walls. Considering that Councilmember Jose Huizar is planning to demolish El Serenos historic Club House, leaving El Serenos youth with nowhere to go to learn and share their artistic talent--we think Ismael has a great idea.
