Heres a follow up to a local crime story you may have been following. A Redding man and his wife took plea bargains Tuesday in connection with an April 1 road rage incident in which a 67-year-old Cottonwood woman nearly died. Teddy Dean Robertson, 24, pleaded no contest to felony assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury, while his wife, Lauren, 22, pleaded no contest to being an accessory after the fact, also a felony. Deputy District Attorney Brandon Storment said Robertson is facing a maximum of four years in prison, while his wife is looking at a maximum of three years in Shasta County Jail.
