Heres a little video of Grace at the vet this morning after her incredible 3 day spa vacation. Wow, she looks amazing!! Grace spent quite a bit of time out of her pack n play during her visit and also had the opportunity to have her personal live-in massage and physical therapist 24/7; what a lucky girl! You are the best Marcia Swanson! We hope we can continue to keep Grace moving forward in her healing process, but are pretty sure if it wasnt for Marcias magic she wouldnt be doing this well. Next up, after January 1st, she will need a thorough teeth cleaning. While on vacation Grace perfected her technique of burying her kibble to the point of rubbing a spot on her nose! Not sure if its out of boredom/restlessness, some crazy Sheltie obsession, or just what. She did this before her journey only not to this extent. She would take a piece of kibble and bring it to her bed and then try to bury it. We will keep an eye on her so she doesnt obsess.... Anyone else have a dog that does this? Graces vet said we can wean her off one of the three pain medications she is on. Then in 3 days she will be done with her muscle relaxer and then two days later she will be done with her anti inflammatory pain medication! YIKES! That would mean that in 5 days she will no longer be on any pain medications! Im not sure that makes sense, so we will take it slow and watch how she does. Its so good to have her home!
