Heres a moment of beauty for today. Today I went to see my beautiful, amazing aunt in the hospital who has been struggling with a degenerative spine disease. Shes been in and out of surgeries for years now. When I walked in, I saw this striking piece of art. She told me with light in her eyes, the story behind it. A dear Japanese friend of our family made it for her by hand. It is 1000 origami. She said its an old Japanese tradition: A person who makes 1000 origami in this particular way will be granted a wish. So her friend made it (must have taken her a couple forevers) and her wish was that my aunt would regain full health. I am awestruck at the beauty of all this. What if every one she knows made her a 1000 origami and wished the same thing? Lets each send an equivalent amount of prayers and positivity her way. Be healed Love!
