Heres a question for the Clark County Sheriff Mr. Gillespie (sp?) - why are there Las Vegas Metro Police at the Bundy Ranch, why are there Forestry Rangers there, why are there so called LEOs that are not BLM there at all in an official capacity? By law they have absolutely no jurisdiction there and they cannot direct or order any of those citizens who are there to do anything. Those LEOs who are there on behalf of the BLM should be told to leave as the BLM does not have the legal authority to bring any of them there without your permission. Did you give them that permission? Since when did the BLM acquire the authority to deputize those officers or anyone else to represent or act as an official law enforcement person? You, the Sheriff, are the only one who has that authority. If you do not know these things then you should quit your job. If you do know these things and have allowed it to happen then you should quit your job. I guess you know that you wont be in your job for very much longer. By what right or law do any of those LEOs who are not BLM have to be there. You are no more than hired-guns and thats it. If you are LEOs not from Nevada then leave - there is a major difference between a citizens rights over your LEO position. Those officers who are there who shouldnt be, by law, you are invading a sovereign state and my the descriptions outlined in the Constitution your presence and actions are an act of war. Literally. Leave.
