Heres a question for you on a grey Saturday morning. How many nuclear detonations have various countries set off on the planet? No idea? Neither did I, but think about it and make a guess. Heres a few facts. The first one was a result of the Manhattan project in 1945, and then of course the next two were waged in war against the Japanese as a result. Thats three. The remaining were all test detonations by various countries over the years. There are only a small number of countries with nuclear capability. According to wikipedia, only eight in total have detonated a weapon. Each of them have tested at least once, using tests above ground, underground, or at sea. So, how many? Do you have a number in your mind? Righto. So, now with your number in your head, im going to predict that you estimated lower than the real value. Much lower.
