Heres a really interesting question that follows on my pseudo-science concept of an antenna in a persons brain. What if that classic story of a mom having eyes out the back of her head is based on the mom being able to notice patterns changing in their childs antenna related to how theyre thinking or what theyre planning? Using their own antenna they are pretty sure they know what their kid is up to, because theyve been in resonance with their kid for so long. This could be simply because they learned enough about the other person to be able to predict them well, or it could be because they resonate with that person and are likely to think similar thoughts when those patterns change. I dunno. I think my hypothesis is a little too fantastical and not realistic enough, but there hasnt (to my knowledge) been any disproof, just lack of proof. If that section of our brains is incredibly inefficient or inaccurate, that just means that the long-term logical conclusions cannot be reliably produced. Maybe once-in-a-lifetime sort of events. But if it does exist, I would bet that studying harmonics in mother and child brains would give us a start on understanding it. Because for it to affect our brains, it has to have some way to interface with our brains, and there will be some electrical signals -somewhere- when it occurs.
