Heres a story about the Best Thing that happened on Free Comic Book Day... Last years FCBD2013 was one of the biggest sales days of the year for us. This years FCBD2014 was even better and ended up as one of the highest sales days in the history of Stone Alley! Thank you all for that, but it wasnt the Best Thing. This years crowd was the best behaved and politest weve ever had. Many people took the time to thank me personally for buying the comics for the event. (Free comics dont get here for free!) I was very touched by their gratitude. But, even that wasnt the Best Thing. Right in the middle of the very busiest first hour of FCBD, a young boy came around the side of the counter to get my attention while I was checking out books at the cash register. He was about 10 with a baseball cap on, I didnt recognize him and still might not be able to pick him out of a line up. But, it was imperative to him that he get a chance to tell me how much he liked the shop. This was his favorite store after all. I thought he might jump out of his own skin with excitement! I love coming here because, everytime I do, everything is sooo AWESOME! Keep up the good work! Thats the plan. :) Thanks. -Stone
