Heres a throw back, The carousel from the old Flying Lady - TopicsExpress

Heres a throw back, The carousel from the old Flying Lady Restaurant in Gilroy CA. Horses as found and moved. Yes, you can get 30 AH horses in the back of a pickup. The carousel is restored today and sitting in a home next to the persons bowling alley, tennis court and helicopter pad. At the Flying Lady they had the Ford Tri Motor used in the Indiana Jones movie as well as a stunt double plane. We also got a bunch of other stuff. Some sold to the Believe it or Not attraction people and other pieces to the Sanfilippo collection in IL. In its a small world the western antiques at the location were sold to the Rawhide amusement park in AZ. When I sold Rawhide my Steam carousel I saw the antiques and said I know where those came from. The other guy is Ted McDonald, AKA Barefoot Ted McDonald in the book Born to Run. Friend, my old manager when I ran the carousel at Santa Monica Pier and partner in our old carousel store. Now owns Luna Sandles in Seattle and Solowheel nut. For car guys that is a tile covered car in the background now a fixture at the House on the Rock. I am a hoarder, I still own the truck we used. Like most everything else Ill own it till the day I die. I do wish I could get rid of all of the pounds and gray hair Ive gained since the picture was taken,.
