Heres an average Friday in Elk Grove back in the day ----- First wake up and head to school. Try and make it at least through 4th period before heading to the park to meet friends. Then head over to Parkway Drive-In for a Heard burger and a quart size coke. It didnt hurt to add a few shots of 151, always made my Friday start off right. Next get the car washed -then head to Stans or Goober Hut for your favorite beverage. Then make our way to Sac-6 Drive In. Really didnt watch much of the movie cause someone in the back of the theater would have a keg. Next head downtown to cruise J Street. Party , pick up girls and try not to get stopped by the motorcycle officer smoking his cigar sitting on the sidewalk next to the mall. After the cruise died either make our way to El Centro to watch a few races of a few laps around Old Sac. After filling up with gas and a microwave burrito at the Am/Pm on L street we would make your way back to The Grove to meet up with friends and find remnants of a party. Pass out, then repeat the next day ;)
