Heres an excerpt from my book, A Diary of Miracles Part II Thursday 26 August - Kevin Prosch and his band are all staying with us this week. Arriving with a knock at the door, I was greeted by four people, one of whom was singing ‘Alice’s Restaurant’ on the door step. I realised that must be Kevin! As we went into our shop, Spirit, we saw a guy sitting in the coffee area who was in pain with osteo-arthritis so I got the band to help me pray for him. He said the pain was in his ankles, knees and back and was due to cancer. On a scale of 0 to 10 he told us the pain was as severe as it could be, 10 out of 10. I think the cancer treatment must have caused the osteo-arthritis. As we prayed, the man told us the pain diminished from 10 to only 3 on the pain scale, so we prayed again and he said he was completely pain free. He and his wife were amazed and, as Fergus and I held their hands, both gave their lives to Jesus. His wife was glowing and they both described how they could feel the presence of Jesus and felt wonderful on the inside. The couple are from Liverpool so I suggested a church to them that is led by friends of ours. I saw a guy at the till paying for an item and I noticed he was in pain so I enquired what the problem was. He told me that he’d pulled a muscle in his back; he couldn’t bend and was in constant pain. Martin and I prayed but nothing happened, so we prayed again and the pain completely disappeared and he was able to move normally with no pain. I said, “Do you want to know Jesus?” to which he replied, “No, he can just heal my back thanks.” I prayed that God would keep after him and not let him go. We prayed for a lovely older lady with dementia and she and her daughter both burst into tears. She made me laugh though; she was asking if we had any books by Rowan Atkinson! I explained to her that Rowan Atkinson was Mr Bean, and did she mean the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams? Just then, two other women came into the shop. One wanted to know if we did “mental healing” after seeing the sign outside for free healing and miracles. I invited her to come and sit down in the coffee shop area. She told me she’d suffered from a broken heart after a relationship ended. I sensed she also had depression and other problems and told her I thought it was caused by an evil spirit. I explained that we could tell the evil spirit to leave and she would feel better for a time, but if she had not given her life to Jesus and had the Holy Spirit living on the inside of her, then the evil spirit may go and find some demons and bring them back and she’d be worse off. So I asked, “What would you like to do?” She told me that she’d like to give her life to Jesus. So I introduced her to Jesus and explained what it means to give your life to Him. Then I suggested she tell God that she was sorry for going her own way in life and sorry for giving depression and all the other things a place in her life. So she did that and then renounced the evil spirits and told them to leave. She invited Jesus to come into her life and as I watched, I was aware of evil spirits leaving her and the Holy Spirit coming in. She was so happy and crying all at the same time! Her mind seemed still and she felt peace and love. Her friend then told me that she had eye problems and was also hard of hearing. Even with her hearing aids in she couldn’t hear what I was saying. We prayed, she removed her hearing aids and I began to talk to her quietly and she could hear everything I said! Oh, I love it when deaf ears open. They are both interested in being mentored. A friend of my mother’s came into the shop with a bad back. I prayed and she told me the pain went. A guy in the shop told me he’d had constipation for days. We prayed and told him to be “loosed in the name of Jesus!” Suddenly he exclaimed, “Something’s happening, I need to go” and raced off home as fast as he could. I think we had instant break through!!
