Heres another Clovis story. For some time, Clovis has been fixated on wanting to teach me how to fly a plane. He said it would be nothing to it -- that he could teach me in a couple of hours, tops. They had a small Navy trainer out at the Madison-Ridgeland Airport and whenever we would pass and see that plane, Clovis would go off on how he was going to teach me to fly it. Not so long ago, they built a fence around the airport and just a few weeks ago after Clovis had really begun to go down and was getting around very little and having to use a wheelchair, I commented one day that i guess we had waited too long for him to teach me to fly. Very quickly Clovis replied, Hell, I can still teach you to fly but I might have trouble getting over that damn fence they built around the airport where they keep that plane I was planning on using. I did not even know that Clovis knew they had built a fence around the airport and, until then, I had no idea he had been planning to borrow the plane without permission.
