Heres another version of cable flys that I love to use to polish off a good chest workout. Its a super-set of incline flys followed by decline flys. I set the bench to about 45 degrees or slightly higher and the pulleys low and wide. Ill start with the incline flys because my upper chest is my weak point and Ill use a weight thats going to get me close to failure. When I do these Im keeping my arms locked in position at just inside lockout and reach straight up towards the ceiling. Youll notice that at the contraction Im turning my thumbs in towards each other because that helps me feel a harder contraction on my upper chest. After 10 of those Ill drop the weight by 1/3rd or even 1/2 and burn out on decline flys by bringing my hands lower over my belly button. Always be sure to get a good stretch at the bottom of the movement and use that mind/muscle connection to make your pecs do all work.
