Heres my article for the online sundial newspaper for CSUN. Listen to the matador fantasy podcast every Friday. @matadorfantasy, Daily Sundial. QB 1.)AROD (R-E-L-A-X hes your fantasy and NFL mvp) 2.)LUCK (The NFLs new Avenger is here to stay) 3.)MANNING 4.)BRADY 5.)ROMO (Dallas is on fire and hes facing a Redskins team with the least INTs in the League) 6.)RIVERS 7.)PALMER (Two high octane offenses square off in what should be a shootout) 8.)CUTLER 9.)Russel Wilson (The Rushing ability and great matchup against a panthers team that has given up 75 points in last two games) 10.)Drew Brees 11.)Cam Newton 12.)Colin Kaepernick 13.)Joe Flacco 14.)Alex Smith 15.)Matt Stafford 16.)Ryan Tannehill RB 1.)Demarco Murray 2.)Matt Forte (Be it receiving or rushing, he gets the ball. You start Forte every week) 3.)Arian Foster 4.)Marshawn Lynch 5.)Andre Ellington (Cracks the Top 5 as this dual threat back is getting better and better each week) 6.)Jamall Charles 7.)Ben Tate (Bad game last week but hes playing a Raider team that is pretty much the worst at stopping the run) 8.)Gio Bernard 9.)Leveon Bell 10.)Lamar Miller 11.)Branden Oliver (Thurs night game against Denver, expect a lot of receiving out of the backfield as they will probably be down) 12.)Alfred Morris 13.)Eddie Lacy 14.)Joique Bell (London Game, with the possible sluggish morning given the travel the Lions will rely on a running game against the bad tackling Falcons) 15.)Ronnie Hillman 16.)Justin Forsett 17.)Ahmad Bradshaw 18.)Shane Vereen (2 TDs last week and hes now the main guy, will wait to see how Bill uses him in consecutive weeks to decide if hes Top 15 worthy) 19.)Jerrick Mckinnon 20.)Tre Mason (This high draft pick appears to have taken over the backfield, high receiving upside) WR 1.)Jordy Nelson 2.)Demaryius Thomas 3.)Antonio Brown 4.)Dez Bryant 5.)TY Hilton (Appears to be the favorite target of the hottest QB in the league, over 100 yards rec in 3 out of 4 last games) 6.)Randall Cobb 7.)Michael Floyd (When Carson Palmer plays, hes a must start) 8.)Steve Smith 9.)Alshon Jefferey 10.)Julio Jones (Offense is struggling, but he has the talent to make plays) 11.)Brandon Marshall 12.)Ben Tate 13.)Emmanuel Sanders (First TD last week, this PPR darling is a must play with Manning as his QB) 14.)Kelvin Benjamin 15.)Terrance Williams (TD in 3 straight games, its nice to have Dez Bryant taking all the top coverage) 16.)Mohhammed Sanu (This reflects the likelihood that if Green plays he wont be near 100%, bad QB but someone has to catch the ball in Cinci) 17.)Sammy Watkins (14 Targets last week, the 1st round pick is a WR2 possibly WR1 with Orton at the helm) 18.)Julian Edelman 19.)Vincent Jackson 20.)Deandre Hopkins (Hes now the guy in the Texans offense which will be down in points most of the season) TE 1.)Julius Thomas (One word... Petyon) 2.)Rob Gonkowski 3.)Antonio Gates (TD in 3 straight games, always seems to score against the AFC West) 4.)Greg Olsen 5.)Martellius Bennett 6.)Dwayne Allen (Two words... Andrew Luck) 7.)Jordan Reed 8.)Jimmy Graham (Depending on health, he could go off in a likely shootout on Sunday Night) 9.)Jordan Cameron 10.)Delanie Walker 11.)Travis Kelcie 12.)Owen Daniels (Lead team in targets last week, in a tough divisional matchup Flacco will rely on his security blanket) DST 1.)Lions (Playing in London, so the jet lag could make for an easy day against a struggling Atlanta Offense) 2.)Patriots 3.)Bills (Two Words... Geno Smith) 4.)Seahawks 5.)Browns (Until the Raiders win a game consider the Browns a must start) 6.)Texans 7.)Cardinals (Playing against a prolific offense but Foles and company can turn the ball over) 8.)Ravens 9.)Packers (Arod and that offense really put pressure on opponents, even in a possible high scoring game expect some sacks and ints) 10.)Dolphins (Playing against the Jaguars, practically a home game, rooke qb makes for a juicy matchup) HOT 5 OR NOT 5 for Week 8 (The guys you should start that you might overlook, and the guys who should be on your bench this week) HOT 1.)Russel Wilson 2.)Golden Tate 3.)Andre Ellington 4.)Lamar Miller 5.)Sammy Watkins NOT 1.)Matt Ryan 2.)Roddy White (One big game does not make a Hot Start) 3.)Pierre Garcon (Until the QB situation in Wash is figured out I just dont trust him) 4.)Kirk Cousins (See above, Wash is in shambles at the moment. RG3 coudnt come back soon enough) 5.)Percy Harvin (This offensive package friendly WR is in a new offense, a new city and we need to see whats what in NY before hes a start) WAIVER PICK UPS WEEK 8 1.)Jerrick Mckinnon (The man now in Minn, his recieving ability makes him an RB2 and strong flex going forward) 2.)Tre Mason 3.)Doug Baldwin (Percy is gone, eventually this team will hand the reigns over to Wilson making his favorite target Baldwin a must add. His recent extension shows you the team wants success in their newly signed WR) 4.)Denard Robinson (Shoe Lace Robinson got 22 carries last week in an impressive win over a stingy Browns DEF he may also be used as a WR and RB in some formats. Too much value not to take an add on) 5.)Odell Beckham JR (3 games, 3 touchdowns no Victor Cruz pick up the rookie with confidence) 6.)Allen Robinson (Bortles likes him, high targets, Shorts just cant stay healthy. Hes the most consistent pass catcher on JAX) 7.)Owen Daniels 8.)Bryce Brown (Traded for in the offseason, has had great games backing up McCoy in the past. No Spiller, No Jackson, talent wins and Brown has all the necessary talent to be a possible RB2/Flex) Heres the information you need to make sure you make week 8 in fantasy a win for your team, follow us @matadorfantasy. @sundailsports for all your CSUN sports news.
