Heres my rant for the day: Thank you to the people who stop to let me out of Tim Hortons, to the people who still see the pedestrian sign & let me cross, to the people kind enough to hold the door open even when Im not juggling bags & my toddler, to the people who call me Maam(even though I feel old as eff) as a sign of courtesy to a stranger, to the people who smile and nod their heads at me even when they dont know me because hey a nice little gesture can mean a lot, to the people who stop to smile and talk to my daughter even if its just because shell brighten their day and finally, thank you to the countless people who can get treated like crap on a day to day basis but still continue to shine on by just appreciating the little things. Life is often unfair and not always butterflies & sunshine but isnt that the beauty of it....that you can choose to make the most out of what youre given and keep on keepinon. So there, thats my rant.
