To prove it, they even made a banana republic Marxist strongman their President ... twice. Isnt that grand? Me: So...basically the last 50 years have taught you nothing. Which President defied the laws of the land and the SCOTUS by secretly listening in on our private phone calls and reading our e-mails? You know, the things we used to accuse those Russkies of doing to their own kind while proudly boasting of our liberties and freedoms. You get back to me when you have an answer [cue: Jeopardy Theme] Bill Bunyack: Not defending those laws, but a better question would be: Which president has exploited them to persecute his political enemies? Me: Most of them. Democratic and Republican. Any more questions? Havent you been paying attention? Bill Bunyack: You dont get off that easy. Please give an example of how President George W. Bush (for example) has hacked the emails of his political enemies? Or used the IRS to intimidate political dissenters? Me: You, as the accuser, must go first. Please state the Marxist ideologies this President has forced upon this government. I must also add that the IRS independently investigated the onslaught of applications of tax exemption from the so-called patriots with TEA Party affiliations. This was not persecution-but rather a reasonable inquiry into any application for tax exempt status. Its not the fault of the investigators if the plethora of them came from the same folks. I believe youve just tipped your hand, Skippy. If I read the usual Obama/Marxist gibberish I read in WorldNet, PatriotUpdate, etc. this conversation will be over. Why? Because I dont have time to waste with anyone who has no intention of discussing this rationally nor the ability to think for themselves. You might want to look into the intricacies of Communism, the distinction between that and Marxism, Leninist ideals and Socialism. All have different ideologies that Id wager are beyond your grasp. Else you would not be so cavalier with your accusations. Nice try at deflection, too. Bill Bunyack: Strange that you view my simple question as an accusation. But I guess that really answers the question, doesnt it? Me: Strange that you dont recognize the first comment you made in this string was an accusation. So I suppose my last comment covers it.
