Heres one of my relatively new collecting passions. I started collecting reticulated berry bowls about seven years ago, then I graduated to reticulated compotes, I found 8 cups and saucers, 8 bread plates, etc. Beware, I just moved these from a closed cabinet with fixed shelves to a china cabinet with removable shelves. The cabinet was Aunt Lolas; she had kept it filled with Fostoria. I arranged all the pieces carefully, shut the door gently, and the bottom shelf tipped. I lost 3 cups, several berry bowls. I did not cry; I just reinforced the shelf holders with nails! Not pretty but functional. I think the little flat inserts had just worn out.
