Heres some photos showing the solar telescope mirror in a Foucault tester I managed to put together with junk I found around the department and my garage. I didnt want to have to wait till Saturdays to test it at the SSDA telescope makers group so I put together this tester. This image shows the mirror is partially parabolized. If it was still spherical it would show as an even shade of gray rather than the inner circle and outer ring. Thanks to Matt Smith for figuring out the proper size of the secondary mirror. Hes working on the engineering drawings now. Cant wait to see the sun through this thing.
