TODAYs headline: Rise in proportion of youth committing suicide. Youths comprised 24 per cent of suicides last year - up from the 10-year average of 20 per cent. It represented the topline suicide numbers as a 10 per cent decrease from 467 to 422 - rather than a fall from a 20 year high. Words and statistics....they can be used to say anything.
