Heres the latest Bushfire Watch and Act warning issued for the Sampson Flat fire: The CFS advises that a bushfire at Sampson Flat in the Mount Lofty Ranges near One Tree Hill, Humbug Scrub, Para Wirra Recreation Park, Mount Crawford, Kersbrook, Birdwood, Gumeracha, Kenton Valley, Cudlee Creek area and Inglewood may threaten your safety. The SAMPSON FLAT fire is continuing to burn and cause concern in the following areas: Frank Barker Road at Humbug Scrub has active fire to the North and ground crews are working in the area. Between Little Para Road, Deloraine Road and Watts Gully Road has active fire burning and ground crews and aircraft are working in the area. Between Gorge Road and Torrens Valley Road in the Cudlee Creek and Kenton Valley areas there is active fire burning in a Southerly direction and crews are currently working here however many areas are inaccessible. The entire fire perimeter of the Sampson Flat fire has pockets of free burning fuel; crews are actively patrolling and dealing with the fire edge. The uncontrolled fire is burning in scrub and grass. Check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan and prepare for a bushfire in your area. If your plan is to leave or you are not prepared, leave now. Only leave if the path is clear to a safe place.
