Heres the thing. We complaint too much on too many things. One seasonal complaint in particular is when in came to the Balik Kampung Exodus, Baju Raya Huhas and Raya Showdown (or ups). The Eid is not that. It is a day of gratefullness, thankfullness and enlightenment. It is a day when we should look back and reflect not only on ourselves but also on the people who are less than us. It is a day that we learn. Yes we learn. Learn of the Greatness of Allah. Who has given us so much even when knowingly unknowingly forgets, forgo and even worst forsake Him. Yes it is us who forsake Allah. Not Allah forsaking us. He is there. Always and forever. Waiting for those who would humble his or her self with palms to the sky. So humble thyselves friends. Pray that the passing Ramadan is one of our best, faithfully and that we will meet ot again in many years to come. Eidul Mubarak. Takaballahu minna wa minkum wa jaalnaa min alaiddiin wal faaiziin.
