Heres what been happening at our house. The hot water pipe broke under the foundation. We have no idea how long this was happening but our carpet was steamed from the bottom up. The floor was jackhammered up in my living room and also in my utility room and then the sand under the foundation was then dug up. The plumbing is now fixed, everything put back and the foundation concrete is drying but I have an extra inch of dust on everything. We also have been dealing with inspectors, adjusters, plumbers, etc. Still more to deal with ahead. But I feel so fortunate because we had a problem but it was fixable. So many people have problems that are not. I am grateful for lifes inconveniences that are fixable.
