Heres your chance to have some input on a brew day tomorrow for a completely from-scratch recipe. Give me your thoughts (remember to play nice). Constants: 5 gallon batch; all grain; not adjusting water because I dont have a pH meter yet, but it is carbon filtered; efficiencies are somewhat low because Im still working on my techniques. Yeast starter will be Wyeast Munich Lager, already on the stir plate (thanks House of Brews!!) Recipe: 8 lb Pale 2-Row (American) 8 lb Munich Malt (German) 0.5 lb Crystal 40L malt 0.5 lb Cara-Pils (for mouth feel, body, head retention) 1 oz Cascade 7.3% AA pellets at 60 min 1 oz Cascade 7.3% AA pellets at 30 min fresh picked wet hops from the picture, most likely a mix of Cascade/Centennial, 15 min addition for aroma Target OG: 1.057 Est. ABV: 5.8% Est. IBU: 43 Est. SRM: 10.9
