Heritage in Province Wellesley A rich heritage of Penang now lies in one oil palm plantation formerly known as Caledonia Estate, Byram Nibong Tebal. Many would feel the same that it should enrich Penangs Heritage if conscientious effort to propose and support to turn this Mansion into one of Penang Heritage Site inside Penang State. The heritage of this mansion i would said is no lesser than Kellie Castle in Batu Gajah, Perak can well supplement rich interest to Suffolk House. By listing it as a Penang heritage could possibly increase the State revenue with guided tour along with Nibong Tebal firefly boat ride. We shall be having Penang first Ikea outlet outside KL, in the nearby district. We feel this is an important piece of Penang history and should be purposely documented.
