When I was growing up my mom didnt allow me to listen to main stream music until I turned 14. She didnt like the messages in the music. So I listened and grew up on all the artists she and my father listened to and #classical music for my #piano and #music #theory lessons. It took me a while to embrace my natural tone from my voice because I never sounded like anyone that was in #popmusic ... But again as I embrace all of me I learn to love myself for all of my differences. The music Im starting to work on now will surprise my audience, but im so excited for where its going. . Thank you.
