Hestia the Goddess of Home and Hearth LIVES ON. . . . So, my book - TopicsExpress

Hestia the Goddess of Home and Hearth LIVES ON. . . . So, my book is not done, and not out there but maybe this event has inspired me that SHE is worthy of meeting the world. We have had a lot of financial bad luck this year. First, my daughter needed help starting a business, then my son had some medical bills, I had more medical bills and that horrible storm took out five of my 30 foot pines - the clean up is STILL ongoing. Steves car broke down and so did his back up. Anyway, I had my Farmers insurance adjuster out just to check my house and my roof since the storm had been bad with winds over 80 mph. We have been back and forth on selling - cannot sell if your roof caves in! He climbs down off the roof and says he has taken about 20 pictures and wants to speak with us. Long story short, ALL the shingles on our EIGHT YEAR OLD roof have failed. They are crumbling and cracking to the touch. No storm damage though! (So, no insurance to help.) This roof should have lasted at least 20 years! The roof is shot and needs to come off and be replaced. OMG! So, I look and look online for lawsuits regarding construction defects and CertainTeed shingles. I get excited that maybe our roof is one of the defective ones in a class action lawsuit. Then, I get the bad news that ours is asphalt and no one is winning anything on their warrantee claim for roofs like ours. Even in my little Lifetime booklet, I find that only a small portion of the actual product is covered and NOT ANY LABOR! My heart sinks. I cannot even take care of my own house! I had not prayed to Hestia in years. So, on Thurs last week, I picked up my large white cat, the embodiment of my special Goddess, and I said, Hestia, you promised me we would be safe in this house. I cannot afford a roof and need to find the money to do it. Please help me. Hester, blinks at me and lays by my side. (Hestia, hear my prayer. . . ) I should tell you that a few weeks ago, my Aunt Lee died. She had disowned my side of the family over some silly dispute after my father died (her brother) some 10 years ago. We have had almost no contact and my mother told me that we were written out of her Will. She told me herself when I called to reason with her after she and her sister upset my mom several years ago. So, on Monday, I get out of surgery and am home sleeping when my phone rings. It is my mom. She tells me that Aunt Lee left me some money. Are you ready? The amount is the exact amount I need to fix the roof; not any more or less. Thank you, Hestia. Thank you, Lee! Thank you, God. You always know how to speak to me. My home is safe once again and a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Sometimes, prayers are answered. For me, they are answered through a huge white and black cat that saved my life and changed my heart. Thanks, for looking out for me, Hestia!
