Its a simple concept, to put the needs of the animals ahead of ones own ego. However, when it comes to so many who choose to keep what only a tiny percentage of humans will ever keep (tigers, lions, bears, etc.), it somehow becomes the hardest thing many will ever do. We applaud Mr. Hetrick at Tiger Ridge for (finally) choosing to comply with the law. We remain frustrated, though, that this same scenario keeps playing out over and over again. its a shame threats bring change, instead of responsible and compassionate treatment of the animals by their own keepers.
