Hey CCAR fans, we need your help. Kitten Season is hitting us late, and with a vengence. Weve been working in two areas - Union Street, which has five kittens and two pregnant moms, and Reynolds Street, which has dozens of kittens and at least four pregnant moms. Weve received a nice donation to help eight of the cats on Reynolds Street, so they are covered. What we need help with right now is for one of the Union Street kittens. We trapped her last night and she has a very severe prolapsed anus. Nearly 2 is outside of her body! She has a vet appt today at 3:30 with Dr. Foland who is fantastic with cats. Its probably going to require surgery. I didnt want to post pictures, because its extremely graphic. I will get some at the vet though. Hopefully, its something he can fix without surgery, but given how bad it is, I dont think so. You can donate via this link below, or by calling the vet directly.
