Hey Donna and Eileen--heres an idea: have a REAL bouquet of flowers out, centered, one a single pedestal (under spotlight, even better). Have slips of paper nearby. Encourage people write a phrase about what the flowers make them think of, and put it in a jar. (of course, YOU will prime the jar w/ a bunch you wrote yourself.) Make it like a raffel--at a certain point, each of you gals draw one (or two, whatever) cards out, read em aloud, and writer gets something special---like a hour on painting instruction from you. Itll really make people look closely at YOUR work, and makes the whole eve interactive. Plus, must be present to win….so people will stick around longer.
