Hey Droolers, just wondering if beagles and bassets have the same type personality? We lost our beagle boy to cancer and Im not sure our other dog (beagle looking hound mix) is going to cope. She has started looking for him around the house and thoroughly sniffs anything that has his smell on it. I know it may be part of the process when you lose a friend but she is also quite clingy. I know my beagle boy can never be replaced so maybe a basset pup can help fill the big empty space he left!?
