Hey Guys, Again I will bore you with these details but as much - TopicsExpress

Hey Guys, Again I will bore you with these details but as much slander is out on Facebook that may or may not affect me, I will of course give my explanation. A group known as the British Association of Equine Dental Technicians is on some type of social media campaign to falsely claim that unless you are a paid member of there association you are not qualified to perform any dental related procedures on horses. For starters this is a lie, there is an association known as World Wide Association of Equine Dentists which is governed by DEFRA and the Royal College Of veterinary Surgeons, and in complying with what I should do in this country I became a primary member upon my return from Australia in February. I have had numerous complex cases accessed and passed. I have to pass a theory exam which will grant me a membership which isnt probationary. This is on top of 10 years of practicing since my initial qualification in Australia (I am Australian remember) with the AEDP, and working all over the world treating horses at the highest of there disciplines in the UK, Australia, Dubai and throughout the Middle East. Unfortunately the BAEDT members are using slander, name calling and spreading of lies, and in doing so making there association look like a group of bullies banding together to eliminate a group of people who have some of the finest education on offer to future Equine Dental Technicians throughout the world, and obviously a threat. I have full specialised Equine Dental insurance, I work with vets on a near daily basis as my job is impossible without there expertise in complex cases. Unfortunately when attempts are made to slander the names of myself and my peers throughout the country, I am not one to sit down and accept this. This is my career, I have poured money back into equine charity through my self funded visits to PFK in Cairo for the past 2 years, I have excellent working relationships with many veterinary surgeons and above all, I am a proven horseman. The funny thing this all started by a photo used of me by the BAEDT stating I was not qualified, but what they didnt mention the horse I was treating was The Politician, champion show hunter at HOYS and RIHS. After the behaviour of the BAEDT members towards myself, I will never become a member and lower myself to associate with such people who conduct themselves in such a manner. Again I apologise for boring most of you with a group of peoples political agenda, but after so long of saying nothing, this has now become bullying in numbers, and anyone who knows me knows that this is something I wont deal with. I look forward to a seeing you guys soon, James
