Its a beautiful piece on a man from Timor Leste who after becoming a paraplegic, became a disability advocate. Joel Morais Fernander is from Timore Leste, on of the poorest countries in the world. After a motorbike accident left him a paraplegic, Joel became an advocate for people with disabilities. When he met Australian and fellow humanitarian, Helen Nixon, his life took a dramatic turn once again. Having overcome stigma and cultural differences, the couple are about to get married.
