Hey! Im Amy! My day job is at a youth shelter downtown. I am a fundraiser and I run the in-kind donation program. I have always been a gifter and have a background/interest in social causes so it was easy for this to inadvertently become my career. Ive been with the shelter for two years, but prior to that I worked for a jewelry company and owned a small side business making accessories. I found this work fun and exciting and it satisfied my creative impulses, but it is hard to keep up with the skill set needed to brand and market myself with a full time job. So here I am! My interests lie in design, adornment, civic/social issues, homelessness, structures and alternative forms of housing, performance, and big art. Nice to meet you!
