Hey! Its Kim! Still in Chicago and recovering from Lollapalooza but excited to be heading home today. I think I saw 25 acts over the weekend and to sum it all up, Im thrilled that at EQX we get to support some of the best acts around and that you guys love discovering new music with us! Seeing acts people are just starting to catch on to like Courtney Barnett, Benjamin Booker, Hozier and The So So Glos play awesome sets to totally stoked crowds gives me hope for where music is going. While also seeing bands like Fitz and the Tantrums and Cage the Elephant prove they deserve to be headling these festivals one day soon, playing on the main stage to some of the biggest crowds of the weekend. It made me smile to see several generations and all types of music fans all in love with their songs. Oh, and you best believe I sure did shake it like a Polaroid picture during Outkast. Things are good, you guys are awesome, and live music is the best, support it as much as you can! See ya tomorrow! :)
