Hey Jay, the South Texas Food Bank violation story on LMT got it - TopicsExpress

Hey Jay, the South Texas Food Bank violation story on LMT got it all wrong. The fact of the matter is assistant city attorney K. Hale knew that Council Women Cindy Liendo was in violation all the time. Now I am 100% positive that K. Hale kept quiet to keep Liendo from facing consequences. It is more than obvious that the ethics commission, city managers office, along with the city attorney and council are covering up each other in order to keep this unethical matter from biting them. I think this ethics commission is a big joke and also is an insult to the taxpayers of this community. Hope this gives you a lead to uncover the truth behind these issues with the rats at city hall. Thanks for your inquiry: In response, its just another cover up, sugar coated write up by the LMT, which didnt do any investigative reporting as usual. The violation(s) were never made clear to the readers. Do you know what they are? They write whatever local leadership tells them to write (wouldnt want to jeopardize any future printing contracts with the city dont ya know). In my view it is totally unethical for a charity to receive third party funding from the local tax payers when you have a city council person holding an executive position with that charity, and in part paying her big salary for a position she didnt qualify for or apply for through normal application processes. She got in through the back door thanks to Mike Garza. What we have here is a club of local elitist protecting their members. Keep stuffing those buses and keep electing “what’s in it for me” so called public servants. like the LCGG.
