Hey Knights, Carole and I went to Rockingham to check out the MiRock Superbike Races yesterday. We worked with Jeff (Lrod) & Jamie Bost from Salisbury Crossroads Christian Riders. We were the only CMA members at the track A message from our President: Carole and I went to Rockingham to check out the MiRock Superbike Races yesterday. We worked with Jeff (Lrod) & Jamie Bost from Salisbury Crossroads Christian Riders. We were the only CMA members at the trackClick on following link to view photos of the day’s activities. This is a new racing series started this year at the Rock and there are great ministry opportunities at this event similar to what we used to do at Rockingham All Harley Drags. Jeff (Chap. Pres. Salisbury) and I are going to team up our Chapters to provide CMA support at the remaining races this year. More details to follow. We are also going to encourage other CMA chapters to come out and provide support. Jeff and I had an opportunity to meet and talk and pray with track owner Steve Earwood. He is a Christian who is encouraging CMA to come out and support the following races at Rockingham similar to past All Harley Drags. He would like CMA to provide church services on Sunday morning also. CMA has had a great relationship with the track owner Steve over the years and it would be a shame to back away from this ministry just because there has been a change in the race series coming to Rockingham. Jeff had an opportunity to open the race finals with an invocation and prayer for the racers at the request of Steve. If you wear your colors and work at ministry, there will be no charge to enter as a volunteer. There is also an AMRA Nitro Harley Nationals race in October.
